Join Dorian for a relaxing 2-hour afternoon tea-tasting session where he’ll share stories from his trip to Taiwan as well as pour some delicious teas acquired from farming regions he and Aimee visited. For this session, Dorian will be highlighting two teas from QingJing Farm in Nantou County. Also called “Taiwan’s little Europe in the Clouds,” QingJing is a veteran-run agricultural tourism farm that focuses on providing training and employment to Taiwan’s military veterans and their family members. Of particular note, they practice non-conventional farming methods, abstaining from any pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Together, we’ll journey through each tea, as well as a couple other companion teas, and note the changes with subsequent steeps, talking about the processes used to create each tea and the regions in which they’re grown (tea has its own terroir!). We guarantee that all of these never-before-seen-at-Lunarium teas will be a real experience!
